God created our children intentionally; by His design, with purpose, identity, and calling. In a world that is increasingly confused about identity and constantly competing for the hearts of our kids, parents need wisdom, clarity, and confidence to lead their homes with truth and grace.

This March, Memphis Christian Church will host Family Equipping Night led by Dr. Kathy, designed to help parents and grandparents, and all those who work with children/students, move beyond behavior management to heart formation and instilling security in who God created them to be.

Whether you’re parenting or grandparenting toddlers, teenagers, or somewhere in between, or you have influence with kids/teens in any way, this night is for you! Let's learn together how to celebrate and disciple children who are created by God on purpose.

• 5:30–6:00 p.m. – Dinner for the whole family
• 6:00–6:45 p.m. – Family session together
• 6:45–8:00 p.m. – Focused sessions:
• Elementary kids and younger: Special guest (Professor Steve)
• Adults & Teens: Continued equipping & conversation (Dr Kathy)

Dr. Kathy Koch (founder of Celebrate Kids, Inc.) is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and advocate for helping children develop a confident identity in Christ and strong, godly character. With a PhD in educational psychology, decades of experience in education, and several books published, Dr. Kathy equips parents, churches, and educators to celebrate kids the way Jesus does, helping them flourish in who God created them to be. Her work has been featured repeatedly by organizations such as Focus on the Family. She regularly speaks across the country to encourage families with biblical truth and practical wisdom, including being the Keynote speaker at the Indiana Parenting and Homeschool Conference.

While parents and teens continue in their session with our main speaker, kids will head to a special breakout time with Professor Steve, designed just for them! Through hands-on moments and exciting learning, Professor Steve will help kids discover the amazing, specific ways God created them on purpose, and the incredible design of the world and universe around them.
