MENTAL HEALTH NIGHT

FOR STUDENTS & PARENTS

A NIGHT OF ENCOURAGEMENT, EQUIPPING, AND CONVERSATION ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH.

The decline in overall mental health and rise of anxiety and depression has profoundly affected how students and adults navigate life. What’s more, the overuse of popular social media apps often elevates anxiety and depression in destructive ways. Through this night, students (5th - 12th grade), parents, and families will receive usable information, tools and encouragement from professional Christ following counselors and local leaders about the conversation of mental health. In addition to the engaging conversation for those 5th grade and up on the main level a special night of extended MDWK programming centered around God's plan for emotions is available to kids 4th grade and below on the lower level. Just like every MDWK, this night is open to everyone, but will have a specific emphasis on equipping students and adults.
